Dyslexia International

Dyslexia International is a non-profit education and advocacy organization devoted to issues surrounding dyslexia. It is based in Baltimore, Maryland, United States. In 1949, Dyslexia International was established to create a future for all individuals who struggle with dyslexia and other related reading differences so that they may have richer, more robust lives.

Dyslexia International offers free online courses for teachers, which are ‘Supporting children with difficulties in reading and writing’ and ‘Basics for teachers: Dyslexia – How to identify it and What to do.’ These courses will be available only from the European Dyslexia Association.

Initially designed to specifically address dyslexia in the classroom, the (free-to-use) flagship online course ‘Basics for teachers’ is recognized by experts as a leading program for teaching literacy to learners of all abilities.
