The professional can also be a Technician in Accounting (previously called Accountant), if he does a technical course in accounting, with an average duration of 2 years. In this case, he has some restrictions in relation to the Accountant.
But, if you just want to learn the fundamentals of Accounting to better understand the area, you can find several online courses of short duration (from 1h of class), which explain the main concepts and accounting routines.
